Barrel Horse Training
Our barrel horse training program is built on years of experience and our willingness to continue to learn and grow as trainers. Your horse will receive an excellent education that will follow them through the rest of their careers. They will be confident and responsive. They will understand how to use their bodies to get the most out of their performance. We will be real with you on our thoughts about your horses’ ability to achieve the goals that you are working towards.
We have a two week evaluation period when each horse arrives. We ask that you give us that time to get to know your horse and figure out where their education and physical fitness levels are at so that we can make a plan going forward for you and your horse.
Req’s
Minimum of 3 months in training ( we encourage a min of 6 months to get optimal results)
Go over goals for the horse and what you hope to accomplish with them (goal setting appt)
If horse is to be campaigned by the owner, we ask that you participate in one lesson per week for the duration of the training time after the initial two week evaluation period.

Evaluations
We are always excited to have new riders join our program! If you have previous riding and/or barrel racing experience and would like to join us either with your own horse or on a lesson horse, sign up for an evaluation lesson. We will evaluate where your riding skills are at and what level of our program we think you should start at. These lessons are also helping you to evaluate our teaching style and see if our program and barn are a good fit for you!
Horse evaluations- If you aren’t sure if the horse you have would be a good barrel horse or you aren’t sure what direction to go with your horse next, bring them over to us for an evaluation lesson or ride and we will help you figure out what your next move should be or if your horse is suited for barrel racing.
